New Year's Resolution

I'm committed to exercising and determined to energize my program for the New Year. I had expected the typically rush New Year's resolution rush to the gym this evening, but was pleasantly surprised to find that the Wednesday crowd was only slightly larger than usual. I'm working on focusing on one day at a time. Every ad seems to say you can get results quick and easy. I know that quick and easy is not exactly true. Well, I should clarify that my experience has been different. I’ve had to work out hard and closely manage what I eat. There have been times when I've been in tune with my diet and exercise plan and didn’t have to think much about the plan. At other times, I've felt obsessed by food (or maybe just ice cream) and working out was a chore. I want to move with fun and ease everyday and eat foods that I enjoy that benefit my health. I don’t think that is too much to ask. The weight lifting class was tough today, but I can count it as one day in the right direction.
