When you were born, God said "yes."
I was listening to a small business
conference call when one of the presenters said, “When you were born,
God said "yes."” While she didn’t know the origin, I found the
quote as the introduction to a Roy Lessin poem on the web.
When you were born, God said "yes,"
yes to all you are and to all that you can be
by His grace, His mercy and His love.
He loved you at that very moment
without condition or reservation.
There is nothing you can do to earn that love,
and nothing you fail to do will lessen that love.
The coming year is a new opportunity
for you to discover more of the height, the breadth,
the length and the depth of that incredible love.

I had never heard of Roy Lessin before today, but was on the hunt for more information or just more inspiration. While I didn’t see this particular poem on any of the Roy Lessin sites, I’m sure he wrote it. His other works are surely a blessing.
If God said “yes” when I was born, there is so much that I can accomplish. I can dare to stretch my wings and step out on faith. No matter what, God loves me. My healthy life-style will be the foundation of everything. Don’t forget, that God said “yes” to you too. Now, what will we all do?
