Waiting On The Lord

Psalm 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope.

It seems that I'm always looking for change in just about every area of my life.  Whenever I decide I want something to change, I want that change to be immediate.  Waiting on the Lord needs to be the way I operate each day. When striving toward Divine Health, my patience needs to continue to develop, as I get closer to the goal.

Despite the fact that there are tons of weight-loss programs and exercise routines that claim fast results, reaching the goal is an ongoing practice that, at times, seems very slow.  I was encouraged to see that some items fit better than they have in the past, defying the numbers on the scale.  Keeping focused is a daily discipline.  Fortunately, I know Romans 4:17 …the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

As I get ready for today, I know there is hope as my soul waits.  Of course, I have work I have to do.  Time to get busy.
