A Joyful Diet
Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
I was out to dinner the other night with some folks when the conversation turned to diets. It was almost universally agreed that diets don't work. Of course, everyone had experience losing weight on any number of diets. The problem arouse when the diet was over. How about we take another approach and consider that you are always on a diet. You don't have to be trying to lose weight, but you're on a diet. If you claim the diet you're on then you would be more likely to make the needed adjustments. Just a theory. If you said, "Right now, I'm on a weight gain diet." wouldn't you try to get off it sooner. Your life goal would be to be on a healthy weight maintenance diet. I should run a test and see if a simply naming convention can be helpful in reaching your Divine Health goals and for a joyful diet.
