A New Month, A New Start
1 John 3:11 This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
I can't believe that it is already March 1st. Two months of 2009 have already past. Many have already given up on their new year's resolutions or simply abandoned plans once committed but not titled. While each day, we can recapture and refocus, the begining of the month officially marks a new start. The month of March is also a month signifying transition. The winter begins to give way to spring. Although tonight I'm waiting for what might be the biggest snow storm of the season, I know that spring is surely almost here.
We should have certainty that God loves us. This lenten season should be a daily reminder of that fact. We should also remember to love one another. Included in our love is the love we need to demonstrate for ourselves. Each day, we should be a step closer in toward our divine health goal which is an outward evidence of how we practice loving ourselves. When the day seems not to help us advance in the proper direction, we can re-adjust and take another step the next day.
