Resurrection Day Move

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;

Today is incredible, when you take a moment to think about it.  We celebrate, yet again, that Jesus sacrificed for us so that we may be redeemed and resurrected for everlasting life.  People stood up today and proclaimed today their confession of loving the Lord who had always loved them.  Simply incredible.  If you had to pick today to mark the day of your conversion, could there be a better today to choose.

Now that we have been redeemed and promised resurrection, what will we do?  Today, I committed to myself to exercise twice in one day.  This small little sacrifice for me is really a benefit for me.  I’m going to be a good steward of me today.  I should be the best care taker of the body that God gave me everyday, some days I’m not.

Today, I pulled myself out into the windy chilly Easter afternoon to put one foot in front of the other for forty-five minutes.  I really didn’t want to go.  As I reminded myself of ultimate sacrifices, my little run feels very little…until I begin.  Running outside is much better than running on the treadmill.  However, it is not easy.  At least, it is not easy yet.  I’m planning on getting back to the feeling of ease.  It will require a ton of work.  I’m planning for the run for tomorrow for a post resurrection day move.
