An Almost Perfect Day

Today was a nice warm day.  It was a little breezy, really windy.  When I started out on my run, I had to push my body through the wall of wind for the first long section.  The wind seemed to let up just as I completely warmed up and picked up my pace.  I judge my runs each day more on how I feel than how fast or how long I run.  By the time I finished today, my legs felt comfortable as I extended my stride and picked up my pace.  While I could hear my breath the entire time, it was more quiet and fewer breaths per step as I neared the end.  I felt like I was making progress which is always a good way to end a run on an almost perfect day.
