God Is On Your Side
Psalm 149:4 For the Lord takes pleasure in His people, He will beautify the humble with salvation and adorn the wretched with victory. (Amplified Bible)
"If you never face trials, you will never have to exercise your faith. But even when facing hard times, you shouldn't dread life...If you dread life and fear people, you are not trusting the Lord to save you. Keep your reverential fear and awe of God; dread displeasing Him, but don't fear anything else. If God is for you, who can be against you?
Be Blessed & Be A Blessing!

My friend e-mailed me the above just as I was considering how to approach a situation at work. I had discussed it with my mother yesterday and, of course, she told me to pray on it before I acted. Quite frankly, I was telling myself that I didn't want to have yet another conflict to address. I think I should be done with these kind of work issues. Apparently, I'm not done. I can count it a blessing and know that God is on my side. The fact that I've had these experiences before prepares me for the small fight ahead of me and God will continue to be with me and for me as I enter this work battle or any other one.

Dread and fear, are both thieves of the joy we are about to experience now.The true enemy is not the person. For this reason we must keep our eyes on the Lord. When we ask ourselves,(what would Christ do?)if we are looking at Jesus,we are also looking through His eyes. You then find yourself saying,No weapon formed against (me) shall prosper. In other words, make God's word your word. The personal relationship between you and God is what gives you the power to do FAR GREATER WORKS.The inside job will become much more enjoyable than the outside job. Many people come home from work and begin to complain by saying things like today,on my job i had the worst experience.Next time you arrive home from work say today,My God.See how your words will come out different. The reason why is because, the truth of the matter is that you are God's own and God is your own.The job is not yours and you do not belong to it.Nobody can do you like Jesus.
