Joy Makes You Strong!
2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried. He is a Shield to all those who trust and take refuge in Him.
My friend sent me the message below today. It was a perfect blessing. I was feeling tired when I started to read it. Since I am a JOY, I decided to take this very personally and began to feel a bit more energized. Although I'm not exactly ready to run a marathon, I know my attitude and perspective have improved ever so slightly and my actions in turn will only continue to be positive. I am Joy and I am strong. I hope I'm helping to make you stronger as well. When the joy from me is not enough know that God will bring you joy...a truly divine joy that motivates and increases.

Being happy and joyful makes you strong, and being mad or sad makes you weak. But the Lord is a shield and the Lifter of your head. (Psalm 3:3) Satan isn't after your joy; he is after your strength. The devil wants you too weak to pray. He wants you worn out and burned out. But the Lord will lift your head and shield you from the devil's plot against you, if you put your trust in Him!
