Thankful Praise
Psalm 117:2 For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD.
It's Sunday, a time for praise. Dedicating time on Sunday mornings for praise and thanksgiving is almost expected. The question is can we remember to praise and to be thankful every other moment of the week. I know that no matter what is in front of me that God will never leave nor forsake me. (Deuteronomy 31:8) I know it, I believe, it is true. Sometimes, there are those moments of panic where I think that something is not going to work out. Now, I realize that everything won't happen exactly as I planned. Sometimes, God has something even better in store for me. However, there are moments -- sometimes, just a quick flash -- when I need to remind myself of the fact that God has always been with me and has blessed every day even when I had problems I didn't know how to tackle.
I think one of the best approaches is to rest in the not knowing. When I accept the fact that I really don't know what will happen next and acknowledge that God is really in control -- even when I think I know -- my attitude and approach are so much more positive. A positive perspective opens me up for more opportunities. When I'm being positive, I can see the blessings more clearing and can be more thankful and increase my daily praise.
I'm working on having my first response to all situations be one of praise and thanksgiving. It is taking a little effort, but I'm getting better. I've started this week off on the right track and will keep it up this week. I'll be renewed next Sunday. The daily praise and thanksgiving is good for my overall health and my Gospel Fit journey.
I'm praising the Lord for a blessed day and thankful for the chance to enjoy it.

I have experienced that, every time i give thanks i am given a renewed spirit.I love the fact that the more you give is the more you get.People don't plan to fail but people do fail to plan.I am very happy that my plans are not as great as God's plans for me.Even when i do think and do positive,God out does me every time.Thank you Lord.As long as i am doing just what God wants me to do and that being giving thanks,I will be greatful that i am happy and free.
