Seeing The Stars

Hebrews 10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
On Thursday I had a fortune cookie and I really am not a fortune cookie fan. The message was "when it gets dark enough, you can see the stars." Immediately, it was clear to me that this non-fortune fortune was exactly for me. Getting dark to me symbolized the trials that we go through and the stars are the blessings that God provides us as we persist through the trial.
One of the best things about knowing that you will see the stars is that you can relax and enjoy the journey. Every situation provides some learning opportunity. The key is to make sure that you the message that the situation is bringing you. As I was dealing with one of my most recent issues, I realized that one of the points was that I need to pay better attention to the signs. People had shown their hands and let me know how they would respond, but I didn't connect their past actions with the current situation. Maya Angelou has said, ''When people show you how they are believe them the first time." I know that I better believe.
Now that I have had that experience, I am blessed for it. My future will present similar situations and I will be prepared. Since I've recognized some of what I need to learn from this challenge, I have freed myself for the problem. Don't get me wrong, I am doing what I have to do. I just don't have the stress and anxiety that such conflicts typically bring which empowers me to handle it better.
Of course, prayer and meditation are helpful and my prayer warrior network keep the blessings flowing while keeping me focused.
