A Pleasant Surprise
Acts 3:12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: "Men of Israel, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
When I got up this morning, I pulled out some pants that I haven't worn in ages. I have been feeling as if I'm a little heavier than I want to be and I wondered if these pants would be tight. When I slipped them on I was surprised to find out that there was a little extra space. I could actually wear them and be comfortable. Yeah!!! It also confirms that the work I've been doing has been helping me head in the right direction. I'll have to keep up the good work. I may need to further tweak my plan and I need to remind myself of the progress I am making to help keep me encouraged. This pleasant surprise will help me have an even more positive outlook on the day.
