Double Whami!

Isaiah 61:7 Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.
For week 9, two contestants had to go. Daniel and Shay were the two sent home. I was hoping both of them would be around for the finale. Daniel, the heaviest person ever on The Biggest Loser last season until Shay beat him. This was not the contest to win. They are both young and were over 400 pounds. Fortunately, they are both on track to reach their goals.
At more than 400 pounds, the overnight transformation is hard to attain. It seems that one would have to develop the mindset that this transformation has to take time. The problem most have is the search for instantaneous results. When the results don't happen over night, many fall of the plan and the search for a new plan begins.
As we get closer to Thanksgiving or the holiday eating time, we need to keep focused on sticking to a plan. At a minimum, the goal should be to maintain and not gain. Shay and Daniel have demonstrated that their commitment off the ranch is paying off.
