A Good Good Friday

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,

This is the day we celebrate the greatest gift.  The cruel tragedy of the death of Jesus resulted in the everlasting blessing for all who accept it.  To recognize that all of my sins are forgiven, forever it tremendous.

When I focus on creating my Divine Health and think of all the times that I've stepped off track, I know that these missteps are forgiven as well.  How power that news is.  Sometimes, I get stuck on the fact that I didn't live up to my plan and live up to the expectations that I've set for myself.  If I wallow in that feeling, I'll continue to head in the wrong direction.  Perhaps, you understand how slipping off the diet and exercise plan and lead to snowballing off the plan.  I feel a little like Paul must have felt.  Romans 7:15 I do not understand whatI do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.  Do you know what I mean?

There are days when I start the day with a great plan in mind and something just jumps up and the plan disappears.  I should remember that Christ has forgiven me for not taking care of my temple as I should.  I need to use that knowledge to propel me back on the path.  On this Good Good Friday, I will take another moment to focus on the success that I have made and the renewal that I have in Christ.
