1st day of Lent
This is the first day of Lent. Many have decided to give up something
as a form of sacrifice. Perhaps, you need to take up something for your
sacrifice. Maybe, it is finally time to commit to taking better care
of your body temple. Do you need to drink more water, eat more fruits
and vegetables, or even exercise more consistently? Perhaps prayer,
meditation and reading the Word need to truly be a priority. Adding
something to your Lenten plan means you are giving up some of old ways.
Let this period be one of transformation to bring you closer to the
Lord. Each day make a step closer as we get closer to Easter.
