The Soul Queen's Transformation

I made it home in time to watch about 15 minutes of Access Hollywood. The most exciting part was Shaun Robinson interviewed Aretha Franklin. I'm praising the Lord for her health. She claims to have lost 85 pounds and is now a size 18. According to the Queen of Soul, there was no gastric bypass involved. She did have some surgery, however, she's mum on the details.
In December, there was a pancreatic cancer scare -- at least in the media. There was an undisclosed health issue and undisclosed surgery. Now, all is wonderful. While I wonder what her issues where, I'm not pressed for the information. Since I'm not trying to tell all of my business to the world, I understand not wanting to share. Although, I am thinking she might be like Star Jones and reveal the truth years later.
When she was at her biggest, I remember thinking that she didn't look healthy. I wondered if she realized it and if she was working on doing anything about it. Seems as if she got her mind right and took action. I don't really need to know all of the details, but I'm excited to see the transformation. I call it a blessing and I do know that with God nothing is impossible.
