Lent - Day 8 - The Lord Watches Over You
Psalm 1:6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. (Read Psalm 6)
How blessed we are that the Lord watches over our path. Whatever is going on in your life know that God cares for you and is blessing you through it all. In all times, you should work to build a closer relationship with God. During this Lenten season it is a perfect to build that relationship. God is committed to you and you can build your commitment to God.
For those who are in relationship with God and find that relationship getting better every day, please make sure you share with others who need to know God. Don't keep the good news to yourself. Don't let the rocks shout louder than you. (Luke 19:40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”) Of course, you don't literally need to scream. A small quite voice might be the perfect message for the perfect time when you have the opportunity to minister to someone who has come in your path.
Don't forget that sometimes your faith and testimony may be what is needed to build up another believer. Even those who know the truth need to be supported and the community believers is charged to be that support. The knowledge of the Lord and support from other believers provides comfort, reduces stress and helps in Divine Health. Sometimes you need to be reminded that the Lord watches over your way.
