1 Kings 10:8  How happy your people must be! How happy your officials, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom!

We can be happy and should be happy. Are you happy in the Lord today?  While everything may not be perfect, we are all blessed.  I'm not suggesting to be blindly happy day in and day out and ignore what is going wrong.  However, I am recommending coming from a positive place and smile as we work on the journey to an even better place. You may want to start with a smile.
